See, this is why they need boy scouts who have been completely beefed up on steroids to stand at every single crosswalk and guard you as you cross the street. Then they could just smash on the hoods of any cars that were disrespecting pedestrians.
I almost got creamed by some teenage girl and her friend who were determined to make a right hand turn while their light was red and I had the right of way. They weren't going to stop at all, until I stepped off the sidewalk right in front of their car and they slammed the brakes. Robert grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
